Compound TPU - SEBS - HSBC
TPU / SEBS In Mexpolimeros we offer a wide range of mixing TPU / SEBS developed according to their needs, ensuring quality products and service. Our product range includes degrees of hardness from Shore A 30 ÷ 50D, special heat stabilized grades with flame retardant, to blow, to hydrolysis stabilized and UV light.
SEBS styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene
Thermoplastic elastomers SEBS, also known as block copolymers of styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene (SEBS) or TPEs (Polystyrene Triblock Copolymers) are block copolymer based on styrene, wherein the elastomeric phase is modified by hydrogenation and one polymer nonpolar. It is used in a wide range of applications, automobiles, appliances, substitute PVC, rubber substitute, etc. due to its b uena elasticity, softness, good colorability and moldability. But SEBS based compounds have good oil resistance and good abrasion resistance and affinity with polar polymers. The SEBS are typically elastomers, which do not require vulcanization for processing.
TPU - Polyurethane Thermoplastic
The TPU is a polar polymer ,It is used in a wide range of applications due to their good resistance to abrasion and impact strengths, hardness and flexibility. Some grades also exhibit certain inherent resistance to stress cracks from salt water to hydrolysis and harmful fungi, as well as good resistance to fuels and oils. Polyester has a high capacity of resistance to abrasion of sliding which makes it ideal for applications such as scrapers and linings chute. Polyether offers excellent resistance to abrasion shock that makes choosing curtains sandblasted and bumpers that stand head hit. The polyesters have a higher tensile strength and tear resistance and polyethers. Polyether provide much greater rebound and therefore is the choice for skate wheels and high-speed rollers. Polyester is the choice for shock absorption and is widely used in vibration damping applications. But the TPU does not cover a wide range of hardness, only a little more than 70 Shore A. and has no affinity with nonpolar polymers.

TPU/SEBS Thermal properties
Combining SEBS and TPU, a new elastomer can be applied in many applications, soles, boots and any TPU applications but at a lower price is created. This blend prepared with a compatibilizing sse linking polar polymer (TPU) and nonpolar polymer (SEBS).
TPU/SEBS Electrical properties
They are good electrical insulators, with constant electrical properties in a wide range of temperatures and frequencies. They are generally used in molding of rigid elements in electrical systems.
TPU/SEBS Processability
TPU / SEBS can be processed in standard thermoplastic equipment. It can be injection molded, extruded, blow molding and thermoforming to efficiency and economy associated with thermoplastics. In addition, clean residues of these operations can be reprocessed.
TPU/SEBS Appplications
